My name is Max Hazen, and I am a preconstruction manager. My career started in the masonry industry where I worked my way up through the field and into an office role. My masonry career taught me to work hard, take pride in what I was working on, and how to manage/work with all different types of people. I transitioned my career from masonry to general contracting. Working for a local GC in Columbia, I worked my way up from an assistant estimator role to director of preconstruction. I then transitioned to M. B. Kahn where I am a preconstruction manager. I truly enjoy the complexities of construction and finding unique ways to solve the challenges of a project. I am truly grateful for the clients, colleagues, and companies I have been involved with throughout my career. I would not be where I am today without each one of them.
