Columbia

Age 29

I grew up in Irmo, South Carolina, and have lived in the Midlands my whole life. After graduating from Wofford College in 2019, I went on to the University of South Carolina, where I earned my Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration in 2022. Growing up with my father as an attorney, my goal was to one day practice alongside him, which is now a reality. I handle civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving personal injury, insurance defense, subrogation, and construction defects. The most meaningful part of my profession is working for clients who were genuinely wronged, forced into difficult situations, and looking for answers. With every client, I want to ensure they feel well informed and can confidently say they were satisfied with their result. My long-term goal is to keep building our firm's reputation as a small but prominent legal anchor in this state, while raising a family with my wife, Hayley, that continues to look after other people and invest in our community.

Favorite Quote and Why: "The true test of a man’s character is what he does when no one is watching." – John Wooden. This is something that I was raised on, and that serves as a firm reminder to stay grounded in all aspects of life.

Definition of a Successful Leader: Someone who says what others won't, and who leads by example. In peace or in conflict, a leader knows what needs to be said, how to say it, and when to stop talking and act. All of it without losing humility or civility.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: You won't listen to this, but here it is anyway. Keep your head down and do the work. You'll get that part right. What you'll get wrong is thinking the hard stretches are just something to get through. They aren't. You'll be tested and feel pushed to your limit, but years later, that's what you'll remember. Don't spend it wishing you were already on the other side.
