Robert Dozier is president and CEO of Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union, a $1.4 billion financial institution serving the Midlands since 1936. A Columbia native and University of South Carolina graduate, he has over 35 years of experience in financial services and mortgage banking. Appointed by the Bush Administration, Dozier served as director, vice chairman, and chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, a $155 billion wholesale bank serving more than 850 institutions. He later became the bank’s executive vice president and chief business officer, leading key strategic and business initiatives for nearly a decade. Dozier was elected to the Richland School District 2 Board at age 20, serving as chairman, and has served on the boards of USC, Midlands Technical College, Palmetto Health Foundation, and the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
