Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers Brings Stress-Free Grooming to Columbia Pet Owners

Posted

Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers, the fast-growing mobile pet care brand known for bringing professional grooming directly to customers’ driveways, is expanding into Columbia under local licensee Bobby Giurintano.

The new operation will begin serving pet owners in Lexington County in mid-September, offering a convenient, one-on-one grooming experience without the stress associated with traditional salon grooming. For Giurintano, the opportunity combines decades of sales and business experience with a service he first became interested in as a dog owner.

After struggling to find readily available mobile grooming appointments for his own dog, he began researching the industry. Years later, after moving from New York to South Carolina, he revisited the idea and discovered Lucky Dog.

“I immediately connected with the Lucky Dog brand and the service model,” Giurintano said. “As a dog owner, I already understood how valuable it is to have a professional groomer come directly to your home. Once I experienced Lucky Dog for myself and saw the quality of the service, I knew this was a business I could get excited about building in Columbia.”

Giurintano plans to use his relationship-driven background to grow Lucky Dog throughout Lexington County by connecting with local businesses, veterinarians, animal hospitals, churches, residential communities, and other organizations. He also has joined the Lexington Chamber of Commerce and plans to make community involvement a central part of the business.

The Columbia launch is also a family endeavor. Giurintano’s mother, a former retail store manager, will serve as the operation’s scheduler after the two spent years talking about one day going into business together. Giurintano said their complementary strengths make the partnership a natural fit, allowing him to focus on building relationships in the community while she helps manage the day-to-day scheduling needs of the business.

“Bobby brings the kind of energy and local relationship-building mindset that fits naturally with Lucky Dog,” said Edris Yousefi, founder of Lucky Dog Mobile Groomers. “He understands that convenience matters, but he also understands that pet owners are trusting us with a member of their family. We’re excited to see him bring that combination of service and community focus to Columbia.”
