Chris Zimmer

Chris Zimmer is market president for the Midlands and Upstate South Carolina Truist Financial Corporation. He is responsible for the management and optimization of all banking functions in the market. This includes the administration of loan portfolio, deposit acquisitions, development of existing clients, acquisition of new clients, delivery of fee-based revenue services, and integration of retail and commercial lines of business. With more than 19 years banking experience, Zimmer was named to the market president position for the Columbia market in 2020. Zimmer serves on the executive committee of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Darla Moore School of Business Board of Advisors, Midlands Technical College Foundation Board, United Way of the Midlands Board of Directors, and is a member of the Midlands Business Leadership Group.
