Bob Ruff

Bob Ruff has served as senior vice president of the Group Voluntary Benefits Division at Aflac since March 2022. Ruff joined Aflac in August 2018 as senior vice president of Growth Solutions. He has more than 17 years of leadership experience in the employee benefits industry and has received numerous accolades. Ruff is currently a member of the Midlands Business Leadership Group (MBLG) while also serving on multiple boards including Edventure, South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, and the Central Carolina Community Foundation. In 2025, Ruff was selected to participate in The Riley Institute, a prestigious leadership program of Furman University. Ruff holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University. Ruff resides in Lexington with his wife Chelsey and their four children, Austin (10), Devyn (10), Liam (7) and Chase (5).
