Sustain SC has announced the addition of Savanna Schultz as its new marketing and events manager. Her leadership and expertise will be instrumental in advancing Sustain SC’s purpose to build and grow a more sustainable future for South Carolina.
Schultz brings more than a decade of experience in marketing, communications, event strategy, and public relations. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles with Spartanburg Community College, US Eye, and Fox Sports, where she developed strategic communications, cultivated partnerships, and led initiatives that brought people and organizations together around shared goals. Her experience will support Sustain SC’s continued growth and strengthen its connections across business, conservation, and community sectors.
“South Carolina has always been my home, and our people, communities and places are what make it so special,” Schultz said. “Joining Sustain SC feels like a natural progression of my love for S.C. I’m excited to connect people, amplify Sustain SC’s important work and create meaningful conversations around how we can build a stronger, more sustainable future for our great state.”
Schultz joins Sustain SC in the months following its five-year anniversary this past March. In her new role, she will lead marketing, communications, and events efforts that elevate Sustain SC’s mission, expand its reach and strengthen connections across South Carolina’s business, conservation and community sectors.
“Savanna brings a passion for South Carolina and an ability to connect people, ideas and organizations through storytelling and meaningful experiences,” said CEO Leslie Skardon. “We are so excited to have her join our team as we expand and deepen our impact across the state.”
