Our mission is to empower individuals with mental health and housing needs to thrive in a supportive community. We do this through two programs: the Clubhouse Day Program, the Housing Case Management Program.
The Clubhouse Program is a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program which serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness and at least two other forms of impairment in their lives. The Clubhouse helps members learn coping skills, symptom management, improved relationship skills, daily living skills, and vocational skills. Clubhouse members experience a reduction in psychiatric hospitalizations and incarcerations as a result of attending the Clubhouse, and they also improve physical and mental health.
The Housing Case Management Program serves individuals and families in Henderson, Polk, Rutherford, and Transylvania counties who are the HUD definition of homeless, meaning that they live in a place unfit for human habitation like a car, street, tent, or shelter. Through our program, individuals are connected with a Case Manager who helps them to find, pay for, and move into permanent housing while also providing vital case management services to identify the cause of and prevent the return to homelessness.
