Benton DMD, and Pratik Patel DDS practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures. Drs. Wilson, Hinchey, Quasney, Benton, and Patel’s staff is trained in assisting with IV sedation within our state-of-the-art office setting.
CRNAs Working in Dental Settings possess the education, training, and skills to provide safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care. Dentists and oral surgeons often work with CRNAs in hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers to provide dental procedures. CRNAs are safe and effective anesthesia professionals who can also improve patient safety in office-based practices. As the need for access to safe, cost-effective dental services is increasing, dentists, oral surgeons and CRNAs have opportunity to advocate for CRNA full scope of practice to provide dental sedation and anesthesia. Chatham Oral Surgery employs a full time CRNA in our office for the convenience and safety of our high-risk patients cutting out the cost for hospital expenses.
